  1. Polaroids

A song about the sometimes nostalgic and daydreamy time in late Fall when there are more concerts in clubs and house shows around the local Philadelphia music scene, "Polaroids" is an underlining message that things will ultimately work out well if you stay true to who you are, and to your hopes and dreams, and a word of encouragement to fellow dreamers as well.

LYRICS:

"Polaroids"

Weekend’s near, around this scene,
Now and then I start to dream of you,
And dreams come true.
And that, you feel the same,
With patience great, I know I will some-day,
Get back to L.A.

Seafoam green,
And sky blue,
The clouds will break,
For me and you,
When the sun sets,
I’m not alone,
You’ll walk me home,

A City sound like nothing clean,
But in between, you’ll finally get your due,
For all that you do.
I know it’s getting late,
Let’s getaway for an ocean day, or two,
Let’s leave soon.

You could bring me to my knees,
With a five-dollar EP,
Make it through, and it comes true,
Whatever happens to you.

At a house-show the other day,
Look to you as I would say,
Just be true, and I’ll come through,
Just like the Polaroid’s do,
Just like the Polaroid’s do,
Just like the Polaroid’s do.

You could bring me to my knees,
With a five-dollar EP,
Make it through, and it comes true,
Whatever happens to you.

At a house-show the other day,
Look to you as I would say,
Just be true, and I’ll come through,
Just like the Polaroid’s do,
Just like the Polaroid’s do,
Just like the Polaroid’s do.
